On 30 June 1938, ie before the second world war, it became like us, the manufacturer also confirmed in writing, sent to a music store in Leipzig. There was a man who made his living as a clown in a circus with this instrument for his family, purchased. In this family it remained until we were able to obtain this.

This accordion-type, that is, with this curved keyboard was only in 1932 - made 1938th Production was stopped probably because of high production costs, which is not surprising when one considers the ergonomic shape of the fingerboard and the shaping of the Clavishebel whose production must have been probably very time consuming. We all saw a lot of work needed for artistic handicrafts and were therefore likely production costs are not more of a competitive and / or market-driven pricing policy could be taken, or met.

On June, 30th. in 1938, still before the second world war, it was sent – as we got confirmed by the manufacturer – to a musical shop in Leipzig. There it was bought from a man who performed as clown in a circus to earn the livelihood for his family and it remained there before we succeeded in buying it this year.

This type of accordion i. e., with this oscillated keyboard, got only manufactured between the years 1932 and 1938. The production was terminated because the manufacturing cost was probably, due to the ergonomic shape, extremely time-consuming and with that, too expensive. In addition to that,  a lot of work was done by hand and also artistic work and with that the high manufacturing cost presumably no longer could meet with a competitive and marketable pricing policy.
