As expected mountain bikers but I found the same pleasure in an outdoor cell phone in a Akzepablen price range.
As an old Nokian, which was after 14 years of Nokia use starting from 2110, pretty caked to the Nokia menu system used is a different brand, no matter what, ever a change, but which I do not want to bring to the assessment .
The B2100 calls my aging brain a bit, some things are easy to find elsewhere or otherwise concealed.

Here I am at the point where I disconnect a star. Why? It's simple:
first The included manual is a joke. It explains only the rudimentary functions. Not even the Keyboard layout can be found somewhere. I spent about half an hour so to find the point and find out ... rather play out, how to teach the phone unknown terms. If you have it then found me, it is easily solved and very smart. Nevertheless, such things belong in the manual.
second The headset could be from the 1 €-Krambox an x-any-weekly market soft goods retailer. That would not even so tragic. But unfortunately the headset is not connected using standard phone jack with the phone but using Samsung's own multi-plug. Thus, it is ruled out, other than a Samsung headset use.
Conclusion: A top
mobile at an unbeatable price. But I would like also 30 € 20 € or more paid for it, if it were a decent headset and a decent manual for it.
But that is complaining of a very high level and I can recommend the phone to anyone.

I am still very happy with the phone and I'll add the things that I think is worth mentioning, in brief:

Very satisfied except for some minor quirks
Have the phone now for three days as a replacement for my Nokia 5140, criteria for buying were:
- Outdoor suitability (& robust, no frills)
- memory expansion
- MP3 Player & Radio
- long battery life
- low SAR value
I immediately had a Transcend 8GB micro SDHC (Class 6) card, a USB data cable (not included) and an audio adapter (required in order to use a headset with a 3.5mm jack) can be ordered. Here's the criticism: (!)
+ power very robust (better than 5140), well dissolved battery lock, pleasant feel of rubberized surface!
+ battery seems to last a long time!
+ SAR is not to my knowledge 0.71 (as already stated here), but 0.51. +
a correction: even MP3 files can be used as ringtones (although not select "Settings" but on "MP3-Player> File> Options> Set . As a "ringtone")
+ MP3 player recognizes and plays *. m4a files (which I had not even found on the Samsung website, cover, artist or album are here, however, not recognized)
+ very large volume. (the 5140 I was in a noisy environment is often ignored)!
+ very good radio reception (much better than 5140i), but no recognition of the station name, which you can enter by hand.
+ for a cell phone pretty good sound quality ( especially if you connect through an audio adapter has a higher quality headphones. But this is only possible with the MP3 player, the radio receiver is needed because of the built-in antenna included Headset) and various (pre) equalizer.
+ very good call quality.
+ display is quite adequate for my taste.
+ flashlight is much brighter than in 5140.

A few minor criticisms that led to a star deduction:
- The manual is pretty sparse and the Internet I found nothing more detailed.
- The only shortcut State that is not individually assigned, is calculated for the Internet (selection button). As a former mobile phone where the menu could be chosen, I've lost a couple of times.
- (eg to get hold of the SIM or memory card) After each removal of the battery, the date and time reset!
- I wanted to use for transferring to the memory card or Windows Media Player or Samsung PC Studio, but do everything by hand, which is also available. When the Explorer showed me that the copy is complete, I tried it first as a precaution with "Safely Remove Hardware" but this was not possible because the device was reportedly still in use. When that even hours later was the case, I have shut down the PC. The files were actually reached on the phone, the CD cover but only partially! Here I would do a display on the phone display when the data transfer is complete! Or is it that the album art in some cases are too large (600x600 pixels)?
Other features such as Bluetooth or camera, I can not say anything because I do not use them. Overall, far outweigh the positive aspects, so 4 stars and strong buy recommendation: In the field outdoor mobile phones there is no alternative at this price!
