All Philips GoGear Raga MP3 Player 4 GB (LCD, USB 2.0) silver - NEW: Best's price Customer reviews Top MP3 Player 5 The Philips GoGear Raga is a strong buy recommendation. The MP3 player has a durable, scratch-resistant casing. The display is readable in all lighting conditions.
The menu system is easy to use and intuitive. The menu itself is a logical structure. The MP3 player notice turn off when the current track and the current position (super on audio books).

Battery life is very good.

The sound is clear and the volume you can turn on properly. Only the supplied headphones sound tinny at times a bit. That gave me but not care anyway since I use my Sennheiser.

The supplied software "Songbird" is quick to install and use. Unfortunately, a little sluggish. Generally a bit sluggish when the player on and off. The more data can be found on the longer it needs it. But that does not detract from the listening pleasure, however.

The price / performance ratio is right here, absolutely.

Beautiful small MP3 player 4 I bought the player for the gym and listening to music in bed.
The player is stylish, robust, easy to operate, has a long battery life, memory for nearly 1,000 songs and the keys are comfortable to press.
With the included software, I did not get along, unfortunately, my player had problems to synchronize properly or was too lazy to mess around me so that when I already have a good program.
But that's not even necessary to drag and drop the player can also very quickly and most importantly fit.
You should only make certain that the proper title for the player are described (album, artist ... etc) to get quick access to your favorite songs in the menu.
Otherwise, the songs end up like any other player (Sandisk, Samsung, Iphone) in a folder as "unknown artist", "Unknown", etc., or is like the Iphone does not even appear in artists.
Alternatively you can simply go to "folder and then access his interpreter.

So now, but also something negative, where is the radio? In my menu radio is not found. Here is what Amazon by radio. In the manual I should not press on my player to an existing icon to set my radio. Therefore also a point deduction.

Clear Recommended! 5 Actually I wanted to buy the model Philips SA 1942 due to the many and good reviews, but Amazon suggested as a successor to the GoGear. And I must say, I was not disappointed. There

Certainly there still things that could be better
- There is no memory expansion option (eg SD cards)
- missing radio
- The on and off takes a little long
- To remember the last digit, the player run (play) and then turned off, so to speak "over". If only the pause button and then turned off, the player notes while the last title, but not the current position. If some getting used to (operate in this point negative).

But these were only minor issues for me.
why the positive properties

+ Ordinary Sound
+ 4 GB memory in my model are sufficient
+ good display, even in the sun
+ folder function and thus easy navigation
+ Robust processing technology, great for running small
+ and compact, yet easily operated buttons
+ Very long battery life
+ For long audio files or audio books, the player is marked while off ("over", see above) the current position (functionality positive at this point)
+ The price is moderate and absolutely for the power OK

I have long wondered whether I should assign 4 or 5 stars because it was so even criticisms.
But because I do the player so much fun, I give full credit this time :-)
