At my Fritzbox 7270 I run so far in addition to the Gigaset S68H the MT-D. Well I bought the MT-F. I'm heading the search for good reasons, have spent for about 20 euros more than for the MT-D to.
immediately catch the external differences: the much larger display that can also display color, the illuminated keys (and prove that because of the larger display smaller, but still easy to operate), a headset port, an infrared diode (yet probably not function), the same size as before the front housing is matted in black piano lacquer on the back, however.

17/10/2010 01:02:26 With the release of firmware version 54.04.86 in connection of the Fritzbox, it is now possible to assign the phone contacts, pictures. Even more pleasant ring tones here, and the ability to send mails / emails to answer from the MT.
What is still worse than the S68H, is the acoustic quality of the listener. Even disabling the HD voice and using the latest firmware for the laboratory Fritzbox still brought no significant improvement: the phone calls sound even more distorted. As if clipping compared the level of a recording device in the red zone. So there are still improvements necessary!
It is a good phone to match the FRITZ! Box ...
I the FRITZ! Fon MT-F have ordered because I want to call in the first place so comfortable. However, since this already with my various Gigaset devices to the FRITZ! Worked fine, my additional demands on the MT-F is a better interaction with the 7270 or since yesterday with the 7390 (thanks to Amazon for the unexpected delivery) . These requirements are from the FRITZ! Fon MT-F fully met. range I can not complain too, this is enough for the two floors of my Penthouse completely, without causing interference. Here I must confess, however, that at my parents with the MT-F were problems in combination with a FRITZ! Box 7270 v2. There were unpleasant clicks on the caller. Here, however, immediately after collecting a ticket at the AVM Support made an equipment swap of AVM (AVM with the support I have made very positive experience so far by the way).

software errors may occur from time to time, but at least here you have the opportunity to correct these errors unkomliziert and quickly with a fix. This possibility was indeed used even when MT-D by AVM extensively.

Even store a Caller ID in the phone book. Here AVM has been upgraded so if both sides functionalities (or I learn it). It is also unfortunate that no one can assign individual ringtones for individual telephone numbers or contacts. Also in
the battery charge level indicator and the display of signal strength, there are probably some problems. Anyway, I can not understand the values shown there always.
summary, we can say that the FRITZ Fon MT-F does exactly what it is: It works fine with the FRITZ together box and is great to use for telephone calls!.
Small teething AVM hopefully fixes quickly via firmware update!

now dominates the MT-F also advertised on the packaging function with the caller ID.
still fascinates me primarily the interaction of the terminal devices to FRITZ! Box and centralized management of subscribers, ringtones and all the other nice additional features.
The pops, which I mentioned earlier were, by the way, even after a device is replaced sporadically available. The solution of the problem was too simple.
It was namely the installed laboratory version that was supposed to improve call quality in conjunction with the MT-F. A downgrade to the regular firmware version brought the final success. After reading all the reviews (also external), I was somewhat skeptical. However, I own a 7270 FritzBox V2, and dismissed, including AVM is capable of.

Very simple: The FritzFon MT-F is only as good as "his" FritzBox.
